{ʟᴀɴᴅsᴄᴀᴘᴇ ・ᴘᴏᴇᴛʀʏ}

This week our class were assigned to create a poem inspired by a picture of a landscape we received,
each photo being different. I enjoyed plucking out adjectives to describe my nouns. I found coming
up with adverbs difficult. My goal next time I create a poem such as this, is to properly show my
understanding of the criteria.

My Holidays

The coruscating light shone through the shaded deep azure curtains, dawn overlapping the piercing midnight sky. My eyes velvetely fluttered open, with no vivaciousness appearing visible in my eyes. I leisurely took my time to get out of bed, sloppily stretching my limbs to waken me. At last, I had the audacity to stroll away from my bedroom. The entire house was tranquil, with nobody awake but me. I Made the simple decision to spread the curtains open, bringing more merciful light into the rooms. I waited with placidity for the rest of my family to wake up. The trees undulated in a tacit motion, the view evident. The energy in the room was empty, and carefree. Instantaneously, I perceived the existence of throbbing footsteps rushing down the slender corridor.

Minutes later, or more so a long period of days, as it felt, my entire family had gathered around in the lounge to observe me while I unwrapped the present given from my sister. My mum took the vacant time to facetime my sister, so she could witness myself opening my present. My sister soon answered, and I had obtained the ability and permission to open my gift. I tore apart the wrapping, and came to see a BTS Picture, a BLACKPINK Mini Lightstick Keychain, a Drawing Book, Money and a picture of me and her.

Jandal Art 2019

Jandal Art 2019, Room 2

For our Term 2 Art, we were given the task of designing and painting our very own pair of jandals that represent us and who we are. Our jandals had to include something that would be easy and self-explanatory to explain as to why this relates to us, and we also have to have obtained the ability to be able to speak about what we did to get the outcome of these jandals.

Designing The Jandals

Our first step in the making of these jandals were to design our jandals on a piece of paper with two jandals printed on it. My original idea was to create a design representing my religion, ethnicity and what I support. I decided to change my idea later on while I was thinking about it. This process would include the template of the jandals, a pencil, and our imagination. We had to keep our representation of ourselves in mind whilst the designing,
which made it slightly more difficult. A numerous amount of people
changed their plan mid-way into the making of these jandals. After this,
we were assigned to re-print our designs on the wooden version of the jandals.

    Painting The Jandals

Right after our designing had finished, our next task was to paint our design we had printed
on our wooden jandals. This process took a few days, and multiple people had
re-coated a color with another layer of paint that hadn't matched the same color underneath the next coat. The colors I went with were "red, orange, yellow, green, blue, lavender, hot pink, and purple."

    What My Jandal Represents

The jandal on my left in the picture firstly represents my Zodiac, the Cancer. I chose to add
this into my design because I can relate to the personalities of a Cancer, and I find Cancer a
connection towards me. The next thing and final thing this jandal represents is the LGBT+ Rainbow Flag. I support LGBT+ a lot, so I decided to put it on my jandal design, because LGBT+ means
a lot to me. My next jandal represents my family orientations. I'm family oriented,
and I love spending time with my family and related ones. This is why I added the home. The flower
also takes part in how family oriented I am. The flower represents a blossoming relationship family-wise. The background on both of my jandals represent LGBT+ and the Rainbow Flag.

What I enjoyed, didn't enjoy, found challenging, and my goal

I really found vivacious interest towards painting the jandals, it made me feel a little more professional
despite how terrible I am at collage. I didn't enjoy having to wait for our jandals to dry, I was craving to paint them again. What I found a task was having to re-think a new design. It was difficult having to come up with a new original plan to put on my jandal design. My goal for next time I do this would be to try not to re-coat over a color and change the color. I did this with my Zodiac Cancer sign, and it ended up looking a bit more chunkier then I had expected it to be.

Thank you for viewing my blog post! Please comment something that would be a help towards my blogging experience.
